Galaxea corals are fairly easy to keep, preferring low light and moderate flow they are typically found in the lower part of the tank. Extreme caution should be taken when placing these coral because they have tentacles that get very long and notorious for stinging other corals.
Due to their long sweeper tentacles and their fast growth rate, we recommend giving them LOTS of space. Some hobbyists even try to isolate these corals on their own small rock in the sandbed.
There are only a few different color variations available in the hobby, consisting of different shades of green, purple, and gold while usually having white colored tips. Other common names are galaxy, starburst, and tooth coral.
Galaxea corals are mainly photosynthetic, relying on the products of their zooxanthellae, but, they should also be fed phytoplankton and zooplankton as well as other products like Coral Feast, Reef Energy, and LPS pellets.

Of course, you should always maintain proper water parameters by maintaining good calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity levels.
