Glass Aquatics, LLC busted on the scene in April 2001. It was forged as a result of a great passion for the aquarium hobby coupled with the entrepreneurial spirit that God had given the president of the company, Vanessa and the support of her loving husband & family. The company was founded with the “Golden Rule” in mind and structured so that our quality of service shows in every aquarium we service and care for through for our store and our HomeBrew Live Feeds product line. Maintenance is about so much more than just a water change. Maintenance is about starting off on the right foot with the right equipment for the aquariums needs and then maintaining all the parts therein and the animals therein. Our entire team prides ourselves in being a company that does not allow any of our clients’ needs to go unfulfilled: when a part breaks we get it fixed or replace it, when a fish dies we stock more fish. We always make sure our clients bulbs are changed on time to ensure that the spectrum does not shift. We Maintain Aquariums!
Our regular maintenance program is designed to be consistent & reliable. We visit all of our clients every other week on the same day at or around the same time. During our visits, we deliver anything that the client needs or wants including but not limited to food, top off water, livestock, replacement parts, etc.
Water quality is king except nothing but the best. The water system that we use is a intricately designed system that is intended to infiltrate waters total dissolved solids to 0 ppm. Our commercial-grade system produces 900 gallons a day by means of micron filtration, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis filter filtration and de-ionization filtration. With multiple 48” commercial filter towers, we make the best water in the DFW metroplex! If you are using any other provider for service or water we challenge you to bring some of their filtered water to our store for side-by-side comparison.
The salt we proudly service with is Tropic Marine. This salt is a top shelf to synthetic salt that is imported from Germany and contains 100% pharmaceutical grade ingredients it contains all 70 major and minor trace elements in good proportions to what you would find in ocean water
During our many years of service we have seen many neglected aquariums which have serviced by others. We have transformed and reconditioned hundreds of these under-serviced aquariums and brought new life these old tanks. Not only do we make sure the inside of the aquarium is clean, we also service all that parts unseen to make sure the entire system is functioning optimally. We practice what we preach!
Quarantining certain fish and not putting them directly to our sale floor is a helpful tool in keeping our fish health at optimal levels. We follow a stringent quarantine process on certain fish before being released for sale. Our corals & frags also receive a coral dip before being added to our sales floor.
