Anacropora
Moderate to Difficult
Peaceful
Indian Ocean, Western Pacific Ocean (quite rare, and not many different color varieties have been found)
Acroporidae
Small Polyp Stony
Anacropora are in the Acropora family but are much easier to keep than typical Acros and don’t require quite as much light. They develop thin branches and have growth tips that do not have polyps, unlike your typical Acro.
Anacropora can grow fast in the right environment and under the right conditions. It should be placed in the middle to higher part of the aquarium where they will receive moderate to high flow and light. Of course, you should always maintain proper water parameters by maintaining good calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity levels.
Although they grow mainly on photosynthesis, they love broadcast feedings of fed phytoplankton and zooplankton, as well as other products like Coral Feast and Reef Energy or other amino acids and probiotics.
