Our regular maintenance program is designed to be consistent and reliable. We visit all of our clients every other week on the same day and around the same time. During our visits we deliver anything that the client needs or wants, including but not limited to: food, top-off water, livestock, replacement parts, etc.

Maintenance is about so much more than just a water change. Maintenance is about starting off on the right foot with the right equipment for the aquarium’s needs, and then maintaining all the parts therein and the animals therein. The entire team prides itself in being a company that does not allow any of our client’s needs to go unfulfilled. When a part breaks, we get it fixed or replace it. When a fish dies, we order more fish. We always make sure our client’s bulbs are replaced between eight and twelve months to ensure that their spectrum does not shift. We maintain aquariums!

All our work vans have been retrofitted to fit our companies’ needs. The vans are equipped with a barrel system to carry clean saltwater for changing water out in our client’s aquariums. On the average aquarium, after the water change, we then simply just pump the clean water right back into the aquarium. We have a large basic inventory of commonly used items on hand in the vans. We keep specialized equipment on board that will allow the technician to clean oddly shaped aquariums or extra tall aquariums.

The water system that we use is an intricately designed system that is intended to filtrate water’s total dissolved solids to zero parts per million. Although not currently running at its full capacity, it can produce 900 gallons a day by means of micron filtration, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis filtration, de-ionization filtration, and ultra violet light filtration

The training program for our technicians is a very intense, hands-on process. It takes two to three months to finish the training program depending on their progress. All technicians that we have hired have been trained directly under the president of the company. To ensure consistency of our maintenance practices, each technician has a very specific check list of duties to perform on each aquarium that they maintain. To further ensure our consistency, we have placed a checks and balances program into place where one of our founders of Glass Aquatics randomly visits our client’s aquariums for an inspection to make sure the maintenance checklist is being performed entirely.
